this app is a 10/10 but if there are subs in the video well you will not get them when you convert it

Um… No it doesn’t… where is ogg format? “More” does not have it..

8/10 does the job and is free

Easy to use but no options. Took my 4:3 mpg files and stretched them to 16:9. No way I could see to fix. I have lots of old videos in this format so this converter is useless for me.

It seems to be working without any trouble. Converted a >1-hour AVI video file in about 10 minutes. The pro version is probably faster, but this will meet your needs if you’re not in a big hurry.

Very easy to use, drag and drop file and only a few seconds to convert. Great app!

Sorry dude but you have my rating at a 2 star because I couldn’t use it…I know it’s free but I am running a new mac mini with el capitano and if that is the reason for the problem then I guess it’s just up to you to get the work done…I migt even purchase an app if it supports all my needs across the board i.e. divx, xvid, wmv, wma, ogg, 3gg, cda, fav, mp4, mov, mkv,

Such a great app for converting flac files to MP3s, sends the songs straight to itunes which is always a pleasure. Everytime I convert anything it always tells me to rate this app... Would be nice if you could convert files into notification tones (m4r). But this program is free,easy to use, and crazy fast! bout it.

Smart Converter works quickly and smoothly. The only thing I would change is, I would allow batch processing. I have a folder of 100 MTS files I need to convert to MOV files. I have to do them one at a time. So far, its only taking seconds per clip, but the clips are only a few minutes a piece. mostly b-roll and short interviews. There is a pro version, that may allow batch processing. I havent checked into that.

I have tried several apps and sites to convert many files over the years and this Smart Converter app is the best by far. I have been using Smart Converter for years now and I never wrote a review but I figured it was time. This app never lets you down. Everytime I need to convert a file, movie, etc. This app delivers. Very fast and efficient. It provides many different file types to convert to, I literally have nothing bad to say about this app. Probably the only app I haven’t had at least one bad thing to say. Yes. Download this app and you will never need another. Side note: This app has never had those annoying ads or pop ups, I would literally give this app 10 stars and recommend it to anyone. Great job to the developers of this well made app, please make more apps because I trust your brand. **Steps off soap box**

This has been the only program that I have found in a long time that actually works. I love it and I highly recomend it to every one. It is soooo easy to use. It has so many good options to convert into. It is well worth every penny to up grade as well. The free version is just as great.

I’ve converted a number of MKV to MP4 etc so far and no issues. Conversion time is fairly quick and is very user friendly. I’ve been able to convert formats for AppleTV, MAC, iPad and iPhone successfully. Picture and audio are not affected.

Came in handy to convert an .avi movie into a .mov playable by quicktime! That’s all I’ve used it for, but it worked! Thanks

Converted a grip of movies. No hitches, no annoying ads. Hats off to the developer.

This program is great for converting Window Media video (.WMV) to Quicktime to play on a Macbook

Works great and most conversions for me are on the fastest speed. My only small complaint is that I wish it would let me choose where to send my files instead of automatically sending them to iTunes.
