This converter supports a wide variety of formats from popular to some of the less popular formats and the conversion process is the most pain-free and quick conversions I’ve seen in a while. Best of all, it’s a free app.

I had a mkv movie file (over an hour long) and downloaded this app. The app converted in it less than a minute! Thats awesome, especially considering how long the movie was! Worked with no problems. Awesome! EDIT: 3/25/2016- This app is still great! I tried to get a similar app on my window computer and it took an hour and only converted 14%…. I’m currently converting a long file again (On my macbook) and it’s at 50% and it’s only been a minute!

Nice little App to make otherwise incompatible MPEG clips ready for iMovie. Easy to use.

very light, very convenient, and very fast!

i was in a bind to get a project done and i was using a old camcorder and for some reason my mac wouldnt read the file but with this it allowed me to convert it so i could view the video on my laptop thank you!!!

For some this might seem easy but for someone like me I have NO idea what I’m doing. I had to record two days of meeting. 5 wma files with more than 10 hours of audio. I converted all 5 files from wma file to mp3 in less than ½ hour.

It apparently can’t batch convert. If you grab 22 files and drop them, it happily converts just the last one upon pushing the button. Makes converting a bunch of tracks from the live digital archive a pain. There may be a way to do it, but once you install the program it askes you to rate it each and every time you convert a track

i used it to convert a really old video on my updated mac and it worked perfectly! So happy i could get the video back! I tried another video converter but it messed up the video. This was perfect though and FREE. I would recommend it

This version exports files in the Quicktime (.mov) or Mac (.mp4) that are completely broken. All I get are “damaged or incompatabile file” dialogs.

Makes converting easy. Great tool. Easy for anyone with little to no experience converting files. You will like this file. I have been converting files for years. Nothing I have used has been this easy.

The app works fine for what I need; I just wish there was a way to choose what format to save your file to (i.e., the file extension) instead of the app you want to play it on. I had to figure out what I needed by trial and error.

I haven’t gotten in to the special features but if you just need a relaible conversion app for Quicktime or AppleTV it’s great!

I’ve been using it to convert AVI files to MP4’s. I haven’t had any problems in the month I’ve had it (the free version). It is very easy to use.
